Astral Plane

If you have ever been asleep you have visited other realms of consciousness. Dancing in the realms isn’t something reserved for the cool crew – we all have experience in this. So using these interdimensional frequencies to your advantage is something we can all choose to do.

Everyone has the freedom to choose to research and exercise their own capabilities, perception and self control to enhance their capacity to have a conscious experience with Astral Projection. The outcome is using our dreams to re-code our physical lives for our highest good.

Am I dreaming?

It’s good practice to ask this question in the waking hours so we can get used to asking it when we are asleep and dreaming. When asking, “Am I dreaming?” Follow up with looking at your hands – or flicking on a light switch. I choose to look at my hands because I don’t always have a light switch with me.

To ask if we are dreaming and then do ‘the thing’ (like look at our hands) that ‘thing’ is always a little different in the astrals. There may be a wavy outline or no out line at all – everyone’s experience is unique to them. This is the beginning step. Read on to discover more about the astral plane, lucid dreaming and astral projection.

Suspend all beliefs of anything you think you know about the realms outside this physical earthly plane!

The Astral plane is the plane above this earthly plane of the physical – the second plane so relates directly to our second chakra – or Sacral energy centre.  When preparing for a lucid dream – what we focus on is what we get in our dreaming life. Much of what we do during the day will most likely transfer into the dream realm – so consider the dream life as and art form or a conscious creation. Consider your thoughtforms and feelings though out the day. Have an awareness around how you see yourself and the internal language you use. What we think and feel in the moments before sleep is often what our dreams will reflect. Who we see ourselves to be in the moments before sleep is how we present in the dreamscape so when we see feel and know we are the greatest I AM presence in the moments before sleep, over time and with the deeper certainty of ourselves: this energy automatically transfers into our daily life.

  1. Be mindful of your thought processes
  2. Be aware of internal dialogue during the waking hours
  3. How we see ourselves in the moments before sleep is how we present in the dream scape
  4. As you lay down to sleep, focus gently toward the greatest I AM and allow your energy body to fill the huge space that is contained by your highest self – fill up and out as you see and feel the greatest version of yourself
  5. Recode your physical life through the journey on the astral plane

Use your magic to create your best life from within the veil of this reality (physical plane) and the astral plane. Neville Goddard wrote about this in the early 1900’s in one of his many texts: feeling is the secret. I recommend these texts to everyone. What we set up for ourselves as we float slowly into the astrals is what dream into being in our every day life.

This is the magic space between time we can create our future with our decision, in the present.

The dream landscape is the place where our dreams take place. The dream landscape can be somewhere where you have been before, or perhaps a place you wish to travel to. With practice, the landscape can be changed in an instant. There is no limitation to where our dreams can take place. We can explore the surrounds of our dream landscape and interact with the people there, from our past present and the future. We can connect with those who have crossed out of our physical plane – when I see someone I know has passed – this is one of my cues to ask “Am I dreaming”

On the physical plane, energy is limited to the speed of light. In the Astrals, energy can move much faster than the speed of light. When we visit the astral plane, our emotions drive the sequence of events. No solid objects are found on this plane and scenes can be fluid and inconsistent. When the body dies, it is believed the spirit moves to the astral plane so with this in mind – so when you are visiting this plane, enjoy catching up with spirits passed if you see someone you’ve known.

The experience of the transitional state between being awake and being asleep is called the hypnagogic state – it is a trance like state of consciousness – also known as the threshold of consciousness – a phase where lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis can occur. Lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis are the precursors to astral travel.

If you are experiencing sleep paralysis or lucid dreaming and feel or see something you are scared around the landscape or the room, ask your highest self to remove all negative energy or entities from where you are – you can rest assured that all energy sapping parasites, negative energies and entities will be removed at your request. You can also command them to be banished from the space under universal law with your command to clear all negative energies and entities from this landscape now. (You can also ask to clear from this room/property now) they will be banished from the space. It’s acceptable to ask all the versions of yourself, as you go to sleep, to protect all our selves from these spirits – because as long as you are open minded to your request, these negative energies and entities will not trouble you in the realms and planes you travel to your lucid dream state or projection.

It’s important to let go of the day before entering the sleep phase. In order to maximize the positive experience in the astral planes – clearing the mind of any mundane topics is of great significance and value. The things we focus on before sleep are what will likely be included in our dreams or dream landscape. If you go to bed thinking about financial woes or things that need to be completed in your workspace, this can influence the dream and landscape of the dream, so focus on the people you want to be with in your dreams, the places you enjoy being and pleasant memories. Feel into the positive emotions of love, happiness, joy, gratitude and acceptance.

Your mind will play into your dreams. Things from the day will spill over into your sleep so before you go to sleep think about things that bring you joy. Clear you mind and turn your attention towards happy thoughts. Think about the things you would most like to dream about. Focus on the people you love and who you want to connect with in your dreams. Focus on the places you enjoy being and pleasant memories. Think about areas you would like to visit for a first time adventure. Feel into the positive emotions of love, happiness, joy, gratitude and acceptance.

Having negative inner dialogue can hold us back from building positive self esteem. Having sound sleep is great for health and spiritual well being. It’s important to go to sleep with a calm mind. Whatever unsettling experiences we had during the day can spill into our dreams if we don’t have a conscious awareness around creating a sense of calm before we go to sleep. Lucid dreaming can occur usually in the early hours of the morning or after waking through the night and falling back to sleep

It’s important to be open to the idea of having a lucid dream – if we think Lucid dreaming it isn’t possible or may not happen – this will be your truth and it will block it from happening – using relaxation techniques before sleep can aid a lucid dream. Confirming to ourselves that we will remember our dreams will also help because once we get the hang of recalling dreams we are better prepared to initiate a lucid dream and be able to recall it as well.

Every time we go to sleep we enter a state of sleep paralysis which is a normal sleeping state which prevents us from acting out our dreams. Occasionally when we wake our consciousness may still be under the effects of paralysis. Some say they are aware of a presence within the room or notice a weight on the bed or body. Being held down is the main feeling of sleep paralysis – people say they “couldn’t move” This can frightening at first.

For a new astral traveler it could be easy to get your consciousness outside your physical body first time: or it could be challenging. Always write your dreams down when you remember them. It’s possible that novice astral travelers could attempt the steps for months and months before recalling an experiencing. Everyone is different. Over time, with patience and lots of dream journaling, connect the dots. Find the cues.

Once we are practiced at being consciously aware while we are dreaming – we can change the dream landscape or introduce characters into the dream in an instant. We can use our intention to bring in a partner of choice and act out a scenario of our choice.

When we are practiced in Astral travel, we can vision our light as an astral vehicle to
travel into the astral plane.

There’s an intermediate body of light that links the rational soul to the physical body. When we separate our consciousness from the physical body we connect through to the higher dimensions with light. The Astral plane is one step/level above the physical plane – we access this realm through our consciousness and light connection of our light body

The Astral Plane is accessed through the Sacral chakra – the ruler of beauty –
The Sacral chakra is our second chakra
The colour associated is Orange

float consciously into the astral plane

“vision a journey into the slow swirling whirlpool of orange, your consciousness becomes a part of the orange whirlpool and you drift in slowly and purposefully. See your self in your greatest I AM presence. How do you vision yourself to be. What are the qualities of you in your highest life and light? Float into this sense of self. Be it, Feel it, Know it – notice what you notice around you – experience”

Training Our Brain For Astral Travel

The human mind has varying states of consciousness – these states are described in waves as well as the changes in frequency of those waves. They are depicted as standing sine waves. There are 5 different states the brain waves can present themselves.
Alfa – awake relaxed,
Beta – a wake state – alert, somewhat agitated or anxious, tense , afraid
Gamma – alert, learning, thinking and processing
Theta – relaxed but slightly alert -the optimum state required for astral travel.
Delta – deep sleep

While in a meditative or relaxed state, we move into an experience of the slower brain wave patterns. When a thought pops into the mind while we’re relaxing in a slower wave state – this can quickly shift the brain back to an alpha, beta, gamma wave state. This isn’t healthy. It’s like forcing our brain to work for several hours straight – this means the brain is always switched ‘on’ or operating in the faster waves of frequency of Beta and Gamma – without a break. We are not an electrical appliance – though we do need to plug in periodically to ourselves or nature.

To achieve astral projection or lucidity in dreams we must be open to anything being possible – suspending all we think we know

Stress!

One would know they are running a ‘stress’ program if one falls into a negative feedback loop, negative inner dialogue with no conclusion, thoughts or things circle through the mind, no resolution and not really going anywhere except a knot in the stomach, headache, fatigue – stress presents in many unique ways depending on other programs we are running.

Going to sleep after non stop working causes the brain waves to go immediately into Delta to recover – so for optimum long term benefit to our brain cycles it’s important to remember that it’s best for the brain (and cycles of the brain) to take a break every 2 hours of concentrated activity – this helps relax the brain and change its wave state.

  • close the eyes for a short period
  • breathe some fresh air or a walk in the garden
  • wash your face
  • laugh about something funny

Intermediate mediation combined with progressive muscle meditation is a practice that includes the awareness around breathing as well as individual muscle groups. By tensing and releasing individual muscle groups one by one – we are creating a mindfulness through our sensory perception. When we choose progressive muscle meditation from our feet to our head- this can enhance clarity of thought. When we begin the awareness from our head down to our feet this gives us the benefit of purging. During this style of meditation the breath is drawn deep into the lungs through our nose as we tense the muscle, then exhaled completely through the mouth as we release. We completely empty the lungs before taking in the next breath.

Awareness of the moment is to live in the present moment or at least to be present in the moment. To be present in the moment means to only observe the present situation. The past can not be changed, the future hasn’t occurred yet so in the awareness of this moment that is now ~ it is up to us to consciously choose the thoughts and actions that shape the future we want. Be present and have awareness of the moment. Use your senses and explain your experience through your senses for exactly how it is with clarity, precision and truth. Create notes in your book about what comes up through the day so it can be compared to the lives in the astrals.
